How to Report Service Problems

If administrators experience an outage or problem with the CalNetAD service, they can use the following procedure to report the problem:

  1. Call the IST-CCS Help Desk at 642-4920.

  2. Tell the operator that you want to file a trouble ticket for the CalNetAD service

  3. The operator will ask you a few questions, such as your name, telephone number, email address, and the nature of the problem.

  4. The operator will create a trouble ticket in the CCS Trouble System and notify the CalNetAD team.

The CalNetAD team member assigned to the on-call rotation will respond to the trouble ticket, troubleshoot the problem, and let you know when the problem has been resolved.
