Specifies the port used for Active Directory replication on this
server. The RPC locator always returns this port number when queried
for the Active Directory replication port for this server.
By default, Active Directory uses a dynamically assigned port to
transport replication updates within sites. This entry creates a
fixed port assignment. This setting is designed for routed environments
and those using port filtering.
Ports should be in the IANA dynamic assignments range of 49152-65535. |
